Refurbished Patio Set

Now that beautiful warm weather is here and will be around for awhile, I am spending a lot more time in my garden. Using my laptop while sitting at my refurbished Brown & Jordon 1971 outdoor set, I answer emails, write and research in the mornings outside amongst the roses. In the evenings we have dinner or visit with friends at the same 40 year old set.

We inherited the patio set and it was in “well used” condition and needed refurbishment. We couldn’t afford to buy a new set of this quality and we loved the retro lines. Plus, it’s more eco friendly and frugal to refurbish than toss away. So last Summer we sent it in to All Patio in Sylmar

Tony at All Patio is manufacturer licensed and recommended for refinishing and repair. He sent an expert over who thoroughly inspected our set and then gave us a quote of the work that should be done. Our set didn’t need major repairs like sandblasting, welding and repainting. It just needed to be cleaned up with a few small repairs and be re-strapped.

I paid $240 for the 4 chairs/ table to be cleaned, strapped and repaired, $115 for the chaise lounge to be cleaned, strapped and repaired. For an investment of $355, I have a patio set that will last another 40 years.  Well worth the cost. Pick up and delivery is $125. You can avoid those costs by delivering and picking it up yourself.

Meanwhile, I am sipping an ice tea, enjoying the fabulous weather on my mint vintage patio set.
