Piano Rental Instead of Purchase?

As the recession continues, one of the hardest thing for a parent to do is deny their children a musical education because of limited funds. Budget cut have caused many music and art programs to be cut throughout our schools and finding an affordable way to start or continue our children’s education isn’t easy.

This is especially true if your child wants to take up piano. If you don’t already own one, a piano is a huge investment, even if you bought an old used one at $500-$1000.  The best bargain saving route is to rent.

Renting allows people to save significant money over buying. Even a modest piano can cost thousands of dollars. Many piano stores and music stores will allow the rental paid for a certain amount of time to apply to the piano purchase, which allows you to try out a piano risk free. Another advantage to renting is the ability to change out models or try different types of pianos in a short amount of time. Plus what if junior wont practice or decides after a year he hates the piano. If you rent, you can just place the call to have them pick up the piano without the huge investment.

BargainsLA fave, Hollywood Piano has rental rates that start as low as $19 per month with a minimum residential rental of 60 days. Plus they’ll give you 100% rental credit for rental up to one year toward a piano purchase. They rent to all of Southern California.
