Cross Roads Fun

After becoming blurry eyed Saturday working on the new website, I got to take a break to take the kid to her vocal lesson (yep the kid can sing.) Around the corner in Silver Lake is a rather good Cross Roads where I spend a lot my time while she’s in her lesson. This location gets a lot of NWT designer merchandise in dresses, jackets, tops and more for guys and gals along with the hip artsy community contributing some fun stuff, this is a great resale store to haunt. Savings are 70% -90% all the time.

My tenacious 13 year old had a typical hissy fit earlier Saturday afternoon cuz she didn’t like the way any of her shirts fit and she was going to an event at the local Y that night. So I started hunting for tees and cute tops for her at this rather hip used clothing/ resale store. 

I can’t buy for her anymore without her there, so I put some items on hold and brought her back with me after her class. Well, we both had a field day trying on a ton of stuff.

She nabbed 3 boring basic tees and I made a killing on several tops. One is a NWT Tulle poly blouse I got for an NBC gig. Another was a great Kensie ruffled jersey knit tee and the last was a NWT S-Line pleated tie back top I got to go with my new Da Nang cargos I got at Pillers.

Total out the door was $58. That’s 6 tops for less than $10 a piece. Yep, Cross Roads rocks!
