Ceramic Sales

Some of us love things that are out of the mainstream, some of us love things that are made by hand, and most of us love items that are quality and add beauty to our lives.

Hand made ceramic art often fits into these categories and picking them up at a bargain isn’t easy. One way to get access to up and coming artists is by attending art center and college ceramic sales.  Many Southern California colleges and art schools have shows and sales to the public. Here you can peruse upcoming artists and purchase their handmade useable art before they become known and their prices increase.

The McGroatyArts Center in Tujunga is having their 6th Annual Ceramic exhibition and benefit show on Monday June 5-Saturday June 27.  Ceramic works by both adults and children will be exhibited and some pieces will be up for sale.  7570 McGroarty Terrace, Tujunga 91042. 818.352.5285.

Another upcoming sale is at the Community Center of La Canada. Their Spring ceramics show and sale is on June 12th- June 13th with over 50 participating artists from professionals to students exhibiting their wares. If you are looking for a ceramic school near you for either classes, art shows and sales all you have to do is find a local college that has a ceramic department. These local schools have ceramic departments:
