Bargains at The Outlet by ELS

Hubby and I often visit our favorite bargain sources when we are sending out our  Bargain Alerts or newsletter as our computers are tied up for an hour or so.

This time we went to The Outlet by ELS in Monrovia. Always full of surprises and startlingly good deals, this liquidator of department store overstock, shelf pulls, customer returns and salvaged merchandise sells at 40%—75% below retail everyday. Product is nicely displayed and I pop in once a month to prowl for deals and never leave disappointed.

This trip turned up a Samsung Blu Ray priced at $209. Retail is $300. An outdoor  brass clock with a weather vane was $39. Allen Allen cotton tees were $9.99.  A HD fax office jet printer was $90 and a Bissell pro heat turbo carpet cleaner was $75. A rolling luggage piece that sells for $79 was here at $39. Some cool wooden jewelry cases were $49-$54 instead of $80-$120 and some women’s slippers were a terrific buy at $8 instead of the original $30.

After scavenging for deals, we stayed and chatted with owner Mark Chavat for awhile as one of the best things about this place, besides the fabulous deals is the lovely fun people who run it. The Outlet by ELS is one of the very best bargain stores ever.
