Finding good quality cosmetics at less than retail isn’t easy. We often wait for gifts with purchase or specials before we buy so afford some of the better lines out there.
Happily one company, Branded J Collections is giving us a price break. Developed by Peggy Hannaman-Jones. Peggy, an Emmy-nominated Hollywood hairstylist and makeup artist, Branded J is famous for developing high quality, all synthetic fiber brushes and applicators. They have 16 ultra-soft brushes made from custom-cut synthetic Taklon fibers which have anti-bacterial effects and are complemented by sleek, cayenne-colored acrylic handles.

Along with their signature collection of makeup brushes are a terrific selection of quality color cosmetic palettes for lips, face and eyes.

Branded J is offering BargainsLA visitors a 20% discount on all products. This offer is not valid on their “Special” page. The code for the 20% discount is Jnews

I know that Avant-Garde fashion is supposed to be outrageous art, cutting edge and not anything that someone would actually wear. But these fashion pieces just go totally overboard….

Get out your old set of Match Box cars, you can play with them on this.
Gumby and Barbie had some off spring:

John Galliano’s of Dior showed this at Paris Fashion Week. I think he is secretly is a 1960’s Star Trek fan

What the?

Be afraid, be very afraid!

Cutting day
For the cut at the Vidal Sassoon Academy we brought in the camera crew from YourLA TV to tape the process. I have to admit I was a little bit nervous. But after the initial consultation with super instructor Traci (Creative Director of Education) and her student Melissa, I was put at ease and actually got excited.

Again the hair was washed and conditioned and each step a long the way Melissa was overseen by Traci, who demonstrated technique and concept throughout the process. Special attention was paid to the shape of my face and hair structure. Emphasis was put on achieving a cut that would flatter me.

The end result was stunning. Rarely if ever do I say I love a cut. Again patience was required as a cut which normally takes an hour, took 2 ½. But the results speak for themselves… plus I saved a bundle. The last time I did a cut, color with highlights it ran me $220. But all this work was just $96… What a bargain!
