Time to Throw Stuff Out!
Over the years, to be frugal, I have saved décor and stuff I regularly use during the holidays again and again. Paper and ribbon are saved and re-used. Décor is packed away and brought out again and again. Gift bags are saved and used throughout the year for gift giving as well as lunches and other things that have to be toted around.
This year, I realized I may have saved some stuff too long!
Gas Saving Tips
Drat, drat and double drat….gas prices are up again!
Looks like they’ll stay up for awhile too. Outside of not driving, carpooling, being more efficient in where & why you drive or taking public transport, here are some good tips to help you get the best mileage.
Country Antique Fair Mall
This last weekend, our kid had some tickets to Magic Mountain. Wrangling a couple other kids & parents together only left us with the responsibility of pick up at the end of the day.
Out in Saugus is one of our favorite antique/ bric a brac haunts, Country Antique Fair Mall. We’ve been haunting this place for the last 15 years
Spring Errands
The price of gas hurts, even while driving a Honda Civic. So we’ve once again tweaked how we do things. Errands are now planned out with mileage and time in mind.
Our errand day was usually Friday, but now it’s Monday cause the traffic is somehow lighter. So this last Monday, instead of spending my typing my little finger away on the computer, was spent running errands.
