My first easy, happy dress buying experience with my daughter just happened! At 14 there are no easy excursions to outlets or designer sample sales. Too much whining, arguments and “ do I look fat” discussions were enough to stop me from taking her to my favorites bargain haunts.

New Kitten
The big news at this household is the adoption of a new kitten.
A promise made to our daughter this last year insured we would be adopting soon. Plus with LA County cutting the Animal Shelters budget, we knew this Spring would bring us our new family member. My daughter insisted upon a kitten. Though an adult cat would make hubby and I just as happy, we wanted to keep the promise to our daughter.
