Summer Camps
As a parent, this time of year is filled with checking out summer camps and programs to try to get a grip on the costs of my daughters summer experience.
When looking at camps, we consider her interests, our finances and how she did in school during the last year. We also try to limit her camps expenses to around $1500 and include some kind of Summer getaway vacation as well. Not always easily achievable.
New Dining Seats
Oh Boy!
Just got all six of my dining chairs back from being reupholstered at Valley Upholstery.
Owner, Joanne went way out of her way to get these to me today cause I am having company in two days.
Very, very happy with the job they did. The chairs look great!
A Real Anti Aging Solution
I always thought aging was a gradual process. In some regards, it is. But for me, moving into a new place and doing renovations aged me at least tens years. Hubby kept asking me to stop frowning. Furrow lines from a day of squinting stayed longer, got deeper and didn’t go away after a good nights sleep. Crows feet, which up to now had only been minimal, were deep. What the heck happened?
Upholstery Savings
Since our current sofa and chairs really didn’t work in our new living room, I pulled out these saved pieces and took them in to Valley Upholstering.
I wouldn’t trust these much beloved pieces of furniture to just anyone. Around for decades, Valley Upholstering is where the top interior designer take their clients pieces and where upscale department stores subcontract their upholstery work.
The Last Throws of our Renovation Saga
Our home renovation saga and bank accounts are nearly at an end. We are finishing up a new patio cover, window coverings, the garage conversion and the biggie…a complete chimney rebuilds.
