Okay, for those of you who have been following our family woes, this year after two family passings (Kevin’s dad and my mom), we inherited 2 full households of items. Even after severely editing and clearing out stuff we still have too much stuff for us to store…. And storage is seriously expensive.

For awhile we stored stuff at Kevin’s dads property with its mosaic studios. But now with that going up for sale we have to find somewhere else to put it.

Long story short… storage fees alone would cost around 900/month so…we are moving to the house next door with three garages at our disposal. Normally we wouldn’t even consider such a move especially this time of year when bargain shopping is at it’s peak and we are overloaded with work. But the necessity for more space and the opportunity made it the best time.  We should be settled by December 1st.

BTW… The bargain babe does not pay for moving boxes. Don’t think ill of me if you catch me scavenging boxes behind TJ Maxx or Longs Drug store. It’s not just a cheap streak in me, it’s the re-use, don’t discard, better for the earth part of me.
