Actually I hadn't eaten at Jack in the Box in well over 15 years... its so totally not my style. It was the lack of time plus our hunger that made us succumb to fast food faire After the last LF sale ( Fall'06) we went out for a really nice Thai dinner at Leela Thai on Silver Lake blvd. in Silver lake. Much more to my liking. We don't normally review eateries, but hubby and I eat out a lot at the dozens of terrific neighborhood eateries up in Montrose. Highly recommend Divina Cocina, Ocean View Bar and Grill, Bistro Verdu and Black Cow. Zekes Smokehouse BBQ has some mean ribs. The wine tasting at Goudas and Vines is fun with an eclectic grouping at each tasting. But their afternoon lunch sandwiches are really good. They are opening a location in the Marina area.
