If you love shopping stores like Cost Plus, Pier One, and Big Lots…. have I got a place for you!

Super Home Mart has only been open a year but has already gained a strong following of devoted shoppers. This family operated store located in the heart of China Town is a direct imported / wholesaler of goods from Asia. You’ll find a plethora of items lining the shelves of the surprisingly large store including gift items, household product, dishware, home décor, small appliances, office supplies, Asian art and artifacts, perfume jewelry, cookware and some furniture at 20%-75% below retail everyday with the average savings in the 40%-50% off range.

There are items offered here that I have never seen before as well as everyday items all at pricing that is downright cheap. Home Mart is perfect for gift giving, sprucing up your home or cruising for the basics. You’ll find so many choices here in the 15,000 square foot store; it can become a dizzying experience.

But don’t let that deter you the fun of perusing some really great deals. A tall resin modern vase is $12.99. I’d expect to pay over $20 anywhere else. A large selection of modern and Asian vases was only $4.99 each. A modern side hair in metal and faux leather was $39. It could easily go for $59 elsewhere A 4-piece outdoor really fabulous dining set with glass table and 4 woven chairs was $224. A tabletop standing magnifying makeup mirror was only $6.99. I’ve seen these at $30 at discounter stores. An amazing modern glass dining table with two leaves that change it from a rectangular table to a round table was a good buy at $395.

As usually, I went nut-so over the tabletop items. Hip, sleek and super affordable. A white 3-cup teapot that I’ve spotted at Cost Plus for $16 is $4.09 here. Cast iron Asian tea pots that retail at $60- $75 are $24.99 here. Porcelain chopstick rests are $.10 each, Chinese tea cups are $.59 and those classic painted Chinese teapots were here at $3.69-$4.69 instead of $8 at other Chinese gift stores. A Menudo or pasta style 8.25” bowl was $3.49 instead of $6-$8 you’d normally pay. A lot of open stock in several simple white dishes. Cup/ saucer sets were $1.39-$149, salad plates were $1.69 each, and dinner plates were $1.79.

There seemed to be a lot of restaurant supplies here with a huge selection of woks, pots and pans, bake ware, glassware, casserole along with all sorts of chic tabletop and kitchen organizers. I loved the metal corner 3-tiered racks at $14.99. A metal dish dryer at $8.99, 3- wooden mixing spoons ran $.69-$.89 each. They even had strainers in every size and shape imaginable. You can even find a 3-cup rice cooker here at $12.49 instead of $17.

But there is so much more here. A large area has name brand and designer perfumes at 10%-30% less. A 3.3 Amarige Au de Toilette was $49 instead of $78, Jean Paul Gautier classic 3.4 Au de Toilette was $69 instead of $82. These very cool Asian décor pillows were $3.39 instead of $15 at a Silver Lake boutique. Some beautiful decorative hand craved jade discs are a hot gift item $158-$188. A small pair of carved bone elephants is a great gift for good luck at $150 a pair. If you need some large 120” bone, hand craved tusks for your house you can find them here at $2,880.

Honestly, this place is so much fun, so packed full of deals you’ll have a blast while your saving a ton. Don’t miss stopping in upstairs for dim sum at the Empress Pavillion.
