Steven Alan Outpost
Sometimes it is a curse to have good taste. Many of the things in life that are well designed and well crafted, tend to be more expensive.
Those of you with good taste are surely familiar with the clothing line of Steven Alan. Known for his modern interpretation of American classic dressing, this well crafted clothing line has seen a steady growth since it’s launch in 1994. Found at stores like Barney’s, Urban Outfitters and Steven Alan boutiques, I was surprised to find they had an outlet store…. The Steven Alan Outpost.
Located in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, you’d never know this was an outlet of sorts. The store is a bit deceiving as it is designed and laid out like a hipster boutique. But that’s the only “retail” thing about it. The savings here run 20%-50% off this season and last seasons clothing for guys and gals.
You’ll find men’s and women’s clothing in shirts, tops, jackets, coats, trousers, dresses, shoes and accessories priced at much more affordable pricing. A pair of men’s boots that retailed at $398 are here at $199. A men’s pair of walking shorts was $139 instead of $195. A men’s polo top was $49 instead of $98. A casual button down shirt was $99 instead of $188. A men’s wool cardigan sweater originally was $285, here it’s $185. And a causal blazer that originally sold at $425 is here at a much more reasonable $425.
A women’s statement making red wool cape was $199 instead of $398. A peasant top is here at $139 instead of $198. A more trendy women’s rayon blouse was $119 instead of $325 and a velvet evening dress was $289 instead of $385.
Everything is first quality and you’ll get some individual attention here as well as bag some deals on higher quality dressing. The Steven Alan Outpost makes buying quality, stylish garments more affordable. Hurrah!
