On the prowl for furniture deals? Start your bargain hunt at Ruf Inc, where you’ll find the same furnishings used to stage better model homes for 20%-70% less than retail. These pieces come directly from the builders after the models have been sold. Some may need some TLC, but most have just been sitting there unused and are still in mint condition. We’re talking cool classics, exotic imports, country and contemporary in living room, dining room, bedroom, occasional and upholstered furniture including tables, chairs, sofas, armoires, chests, beds, bookcases, as well as decorative accessories, bedding, lamps and a never-ending selection of art and home décor.

A good eye and sense of style will guide you through this two story packed store in an industrial area. The deals here can be really sweet. Recent finds include a black suede sofa and matching love seat for $998. Retail would be $2000 or more. A deco frosted table lamp was well priced at $87. I’d expect to see this piece for $125 or more. A well constructed reproduction of a Mission styled entertainment armoire was $745 instead of $1300. A real stunner that literally was purchased from underneath me was a burgundy tweed sectional. At only $1198, I knew why it went so fast. You’d expect to see this tagged at $2000 plus anywhere else. One dining set got so much attention from the hordes of shoppers that I had to get a look at it. A dark mod, maple inlaid dining table with six matching suede and wood chairs was only $1350. This statement making set should fetch upwards of $2500 regularly. Some of the deals were just good deals like a perfect leather side chair with ottoman in a dark mahogany leather priced at $796. Retail would run near $1000. But most were jaw droppers like a golden, velvet curved back, 6 pillowed sofa at only $725!

There are lots of deals in room accessories. Here is where the hunt gets fun. Chinese hand painted jewelry boxes are below import wholesale at $89, pillows ranged from $10-$35 and then there’s the bric a brac used to give home that personalized touch.
