Driving around Sherman Oaks last week, I spied a new hipster resale store, Rewind Recycled Fashion. I adore resale and thrift store and wanted to see what this new cool boutique could offer.

As I wondered into the store the first thing I noticed was how clean and well organized it looked. A mix of Crossroads, meets vintage, meets upscale boutique, there are no over stuff racks with old clothes. Just a well edited selection of clothing pieces from the 1940’s to today at some really great pricing. Everything was mint or near mint at pricing that was at least 50% off original retail.

The clothing tags are colored coded here so you can quickly surmise what kind of product you’re looking at.
A Pink Tag = New
A Gold Tag =Consigned product
A White Tag = Used/ bought outright

I hit the jean racks first. Some women’s Bebe jeans were $38 instead of $90, a pair of Rock N Republic dark denim were $35 instead of $160. Some Lucky Brand embroidered denim jeans were a cool buy at just $18 and some new, (w/ tags) Dream Culture jeans were $22 instead of $48.

I then headed over to the women’s racks where I found a Free People full length crocheted coat at $22 instead of $130. Some Vertigo pants were just $16.50. A pair of Nanette Lepore tweed trousers were a sweet deal at just $35 and a Wendy Hill zebra stripped jacket was neat at just $28. I picked up a shirt dress at just $11.

I loved the vintage coats. Standouts included a Oscar Leopold leather coat with Lambswool collar was totally cool at $70. A Vintage faux fur car coat was just $45 and a RS France leather and suede jacket in a leopard print was $80.

The men’s selection is in back half of the store with a nice selection of jeans, trousers, bowling shirts and jackets. I liked an Alfani camel car coat at $22, some new army fatigue jackets at $48. An Old Navy Windbreaker was just $12, a very hip vintage wool suit jacket was $40 and some Club Monaco jeans were just $15.

Don’t miss the shoe racks with a nice selection of men’s and women’s shoes, boots, sandal, work boots, pumps and more. I spotted Michael Kors, Inc, Nine West, Bruno Magli, Stuart Weitzmann and even Wild Diva.

They also have a bi weekly drawing to win $30 worth of free clothes. Fun, cool clothes and great deals. If you have a cool sense of style, this place hold the promise of a great bargain pick!
