Normally when I see a store sign like Hi Fashion $5.99, I immediately believe it’s a store full of crap-ola junk that’s not really worth $5.99. But “contempt before investigation” is a flaw I am trying to overcome, so I went in. Glad I did.

Hi Fashion $5.99 does not carry high end merchandise. It is not a high-end boutique. But surprisingly enough, it had a good amount of brand name fashion apparel you’d normally see a JC Penny, Kohls, Sears, Fashion Bug and trendy mall boutiques at 50%-80% savings.

Perfect for juniors and fun trendy garments for the summer, you’ll find quite a few steals here mixed in with some super low-end clothing. But there’s plenty of the brand name, junior apparel to make it worth a “look see”.

Brands spotted included Derek Heart, America Rag Cie, Cielo, Forla Paris, Miss Me, Wet Seal, Zinc, N.Y.L., Hush, dm bm, Grifflin Paris for juniors and Lane Bryant, Sam & Max, Derek Heart, Fashion Bug and J & D Fashions for plus size women.

Pricing Runs from $1-$15.99 for items that normally would have sold for $5-$50 originally. A Mossimo tank top was $5.99. A Derek Heart romper was $7.99 instead of $19. A Hypoptik dress was $5.99 instead of $20. Some Miss Me camouflage cargos were $7.99 instead of $38. A large group of Energie tops and tees were $8.99 instead of $16-$24 at Kohls, A fabulous Forla Paris floral summer dress was a great buy at $10.99 instead of $49. A Hush ply blend coat was $14.99 instead of $30-$35. Some American Rag Cie jeans were $11.99 instead of $32.

A nice grouping of plus size garments had a Lane Bryant top for $9.99, A Derek Heart faux fur trimmed vest at $5.99 and a J & D Fashion tunic at $8.99. In the back were some medical scrub fashions by Natural Uniform, Angel and Expo priced at $5.99-$12.99.

Don’t leave without checking the sales racks with a bunch of different items priced at a mere $2.99. There were plenty of cheap accessories here in belts, earring bracelets, scarves, flip flops ranging from really cute to unbelievably ghastly! But at $1-$2.99, it’s fun.

The prices here obviously are very low making this a fun pop in to bag a fun fashion bargain.
