Ampersand Resale Boutique

New resale boutique, Ampersand is a terrific little addition to the shopping scene in the Larchmont area. This neat little “indie” boutique has hipster style upscale designer dressing 40%-65% off the original retail.

Their well edited designer women’s shoes, handbags and clothing selection is in mint to near mint condition and will have you cheering at the divine pieces found here.

Do canvas the shoe collection first with names like Prada, Miu Miu, Cynthia Vincent, Tory Burch, Chanel and Christian Louboutin. Deals included some Chanel Evening pumps at $275 instead of $750.  Some Christian Louboutin cinderlla flats were $200 instead of $450.  Some Stuart Weitzmann 40’s inspired pumps were $110 instead of $250 and some NWT Ugg booties were $75 instead of $150.

Everything here has style and panache. The racks have a nice assortment from Couture to department store. A Philosophy white jacket is $150 instead of $750.  A DKNY jacket was just $70 instead of $150. An Indgio Palms pearlized leather jacket is here at $200 instead of $600.

I really like some Eli Tahari trousers at $60 instead of $160. Some Gucci pants were $450 instead of $900. A vintage Betsy Johnson skirt suit was $440. Sportswear line Aqua had a polka dot blouse here at $40 instead of $88. And a super cute Old Navy summer dress is a mere $15 instead of the original $40.

The handbag selection is sweet. A Tods satchel was $500 A Marc Jacobs bag was $225 and a cream colored coach bag was just $150.

Owner Laura Armstrong has a great sense of style and loves talking to and helping her clients. Easy to shop with a lovely neighborhood feel. A must hit for fashionistas on a budget.
