AMC Stubs A-List Program

By Suzanne O'Connor

We’re movie lovers. But going to the movies has become costly with most films now running $13-$16 per show.  Of course add in parking, popcorn, drinks or a meal and that cost skyrockets.

But then we heard about the new AMC Stubs A-List Program. In a word…WOW.

You can see up to 3 movies a week for $19.95 per person, per month. That’s 12 movies a month. This includes their premium formats like IMAX, Dolby Cinema, Real D 3D and digital theaters at any of their U.S. locations. You can make advanced reservations via the AMC app for free and AMC Stubs A-List members also receive benefits of AMC Stubs Premiere.

If you go to the movies more than twice a month you see the savings immediately. You have to commit to at least 3 month membership and then you can opt out at anytime.

You enroll at AMCStubs.com A-List starting on Tuesday 6/26. You won’t get a membership card, but will need to download their app to use a “Virtual Card”.

A-List tickets are for the member only. So you can’t buy for others. But your friends can join too.

After doing basic math, 12 movies would cost $156 at $13 each. So you’d save $136.  And there are no “Black Out” dates. YAY!

The only downside I can see is that some movies will not be very good and you may not want to see them.  Or there may not be 12 new films to see.  But if you see at least 4 films a month, you’re getting a great deal.

The big screen is how films were meant to be seen. With the AMC Stubs A-List program,  you can again, for less.
